Bucky, the owner of L.C.S. (left, cover photo) is a character and a canny businessman. For years he'd been quietly putting out his own "Xeroxed" flyers full of exotic gundog paraphernalia . . . Then he realized that a) when he actually totalled it all up he had an amazingly colorful inventory and b) the computer revolution had finally brought the cost of full-color printing down to reasonable levels. Working with designer Mary Fusco, we scanned a wide array of materials -- from high quality custom chromes to rescreens from manufacturers catalogs -- and came up with this 20-page piece that has catapulted Lion Country Supply into one of the top vendors of gundog supplies worldwide.

We have worked on three annual catalogs for Bucky and every one has been a challenge, an adventure, and ultimately, very satisfying to all of us and the tens of thousands of hunters who eagerly await the next issue.
